Business Process

Our global sourcing model requires that we have an agile and ever improving business process in place that makes sure that our marketing, sales, project initiation, delivery, support and account management seamlessly integrate with each other. We use state of the art CRM systems and processes and are continuously looking to improve our processes all the time.

When you do your business with us you can rest assured that there is a team working in the background to keep improving the processes to make sure that we communicate well with you, take your suggestions on board and ensure that the customer satisfaction levels are high. When we do all this, we also have to improve the process in such a way that the costs are kept to a minimum so that we can come out with proposals that are competitive and cost effective for our clients.

A glimpse of our process for executing a web based project is given below:

Each stage can go through multiple iterations within the stage.

Pre-sales:

Discussion with Client about their requirements (Part of requirements analysis done at this stage). Submit proposal to client with estimated time and cost.

Project Initiation:

  • Set out a communication plan that includes the contact details of all team members including Account Manager, Project Manager and the team members.
  • Prepare a project plan.
  • Risk Management Plan. Please see 3 stage Design process diagram

Graphics design and client approval:

  • The design team will understand the client questionnaire and the documents supplied by the clients.
  • Two layouts will be designed and sent to the clients for their feedback. The images required for the layout design either will be supplied by the client or Samran Technologies will use the copyrighted images.

Detailed Requirements Analysis:

  • Typically prepare HTML prototypes of the different aspects of the website.
  • Have multiple discussions with the client, get their feedback on the prototypes and finalise the requirements.

Implementation:

  • Implementation happens with close interaction with the clients.
  • When a minor milestone is reached as per the project plan, the progress is shown to the client and their feedback is received and fed back into the implementation process.
  • Implementation is completed when all the functionalities mentioned in the prototype have been completed.

Testing:

Testing begins as soon as a minor milestone has been reached during the implementation phase. Testing and implementation go hand in hand.

User Acceptance Testing:

User Acceptance Testing begins as soon as implementation has been completed. During this phase, the client goes through every aspect of the website and approves or gives feedback about the functionalities. This phase gets completed when all functionalities have been approved.

Go-Live:

Once UAT has been completed, the site is hosted in live servers and final configurations are completed ready to make the site available for public. On the day the client wants the site to be available for public, the site is made to go live!
